Football passion met creator culture at Alawwal Park for the inaugural Stars Cup, featuring 16 teams led by some of Saudi Arabia’s leading influencers and content creators. Held from 6 to 9 August 2026, the tournament brought football fans and online communities together for a programme of competitive matches, entertainment and prizes.

The knockout competition opened with four matches involving eight teams on each of the first two days. Day three saw the eight remaining teams compete in four quarter-finals, before the final day brought two semi-finals, the title decider and the trophy presentation. Each match lasted 40 minutes across two halves, with drawn games going straight to penalties.

Al Saateer, led by popular content creator Naif Hamdan, lifted the inaugural trophy in front of more than 18,000 fans at the final. The excitement extended beyond the stands through social media livestreams, allowing audiences to follow the competition across multiple accounts.
